JoJo Fletcher is still one of the favorite Bachelorette leads nearly a decade after her season aired. Millions of viewers watched her get engaged to Jordan Rodgers in the Season 12 finale in 2016. The couple finally married in 2022 after a series of setbacks. She recently opened up about the drastic act she took to have a child.

What Took The Couple So Long To Marry?

Viewers haven’t seen much of JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers on TV since The Big D was canceled. The couple hosted the show that followed divorcees as they tried to find love again. The show was originally meant for TBS but the network canceled it before the first episode even aired. It was later picked up by the USA network. The first season aired in 2023 but it wasn’t renewed for more seasons.

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are one of the rare success stories from Bachelor Nation. If anyone could help divorcees get a second chance at love, it would be the two reality TV vets.

Despite their enduring love, it took a few years for JoJo and Jordan to make it down the aisle after their 2016 engagement. Their plans kept getting interrupted and the 2020 pandemic only delayed the wedding even more.

The happy couple finally tied the knot in an intimate wedding in 2022. They said in 2023 that they wanted to have children soon but it hasn’t happened for them yet.

It turns out that the couple is having difficulty conceiving.

Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher’s Drastic Act To Get Pregnant

JoJo Fletcher hasn’t shared much about her fertility journey. She’s among several Bachelor Nation stars who have had trouble getting pregnant. Season 17 Bachelorette Katie Thurston recently started IVF after being diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her liver.

Bachelor In Paradise fan-favorite Caelynn Bell (former Miller-Keyes) opened up last month about having a hard time getting pregnant. Season 10 Bachelorette Andi Dorfman finally welcomed her first child in late 2024 after a long fertility struggle.

About 11% of women struggle with fertility issues. In a candid Instagram post, JoJo Fletcher shared a glimpse at the drastic measures she’s taken to help her conceive a child. She shared a picture of her stomach stuck with needles. JoJo revealed that she’s trying acupuncture to help with fertility issues she’s having.

She said that she hasn’t spoken much about trying to conceive, but felt it was important to bring attention to the issue because so many other women are going through it too.

Does Acupuncture Help Fertility?

Acupuncture has a lot of positive outcomes, but can it help fertility? According to the Cleveland Clinic, there isn’t any concrete evidence that acupuncture has any effect on fertility.

Some studies indicate that acupuncture can help increase the function of the ovaries. Acupuncture is also known to reduce stress and anxiety, which can help when someone is struggling with fertility problems.

The overall studies are inconclusive, but many women swear by the ancient Chinese practice to help them get pregnant. Hopefully it will help JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers achieve their dream of starting their family.
