Bachelor Sean Lowe finally made his way back to social media following his horrific dog attack. When the incident occurred, he was attacked not once but multiple times by their family dog, Moose. Sean did have to go to the emergency room for treatment following the vicious attack. Now, he and one of his sons are sharing an update with fans about how he’s doing. Bachelor Sean Lowe Attacked By Family Dog
Bachelor Sean Lowe, with wife Catherine by his side, initially shared a somber announcement with fans that their rescue dog Moose had attacked him. On March 17, Lowe revealed that the previous Thursday evening, he had friends over to Barbecue. The weather was nice, so he left doors and windows open for some fresh air.
The smoke from the grill drifted into the house, causing the fire alarm to sound. Sean grabbed a dish towel and was going to wave the smoke away to stop the alarm. Moose ran up to him and aggressively tried to grab the dish towel and also nipped at his finger. Up until this point, there had been no aggressive behavior from Moose. In fact, Sean said he even always slept with their children.
After sternly telling Moose no, the dog started biting Sean’s feet so hard that it put holes in his shoes. Next, he just showed his teeth and attacked. He went on to say he felt Moose ripping into his flesh. Although he was bleeding badly, he was able to get him into the backyard.
At that point, Moose ran back into the house and attacked Sean again. He said he felt like he was fighting for his life.
Sean had his friends rush him to the hospital. He received stitches in five or six different places. Moose wasn’t done yet, though. He attacked Sean a third time, sending him back to the ER. Sean noted previously that he does not blame Moose for the attack. He feels he suffered some trauma before they had him and something made him snap.
Sean Is Updating Fans On How He’s Doing
Just about a month after the attack, Bachelor Sean Lowe returned to social media. He shared a video on his Instagram Stories revealing an update about his wounds. He began by thanking fans for all of their support. Lowe said he could tell it was sincere.
Sean said they received thousands of messages from all over, along with people sharing similar experiences. His son Isaiah also thanked everyone for being so nice to his dad.
Lowe continued his video and shared a health update after receiving numerous stitches in several places from the attack. Overall, Sean is doing great.
He said, “I’m healing, my scars aren’t as bad as I thought they would be. Isaiah likes to kiss this one here. The doctor told me that one is about as good as it’s going to get, it’s kind of red. It won’t be red forever but I’ll have a cool scar there forever.”
As for Moose, the dog was taken away, but there is no word on what happened to him.
