Bachelor In Paradise returns to ABC this summer. A huge change was just revealed about the upcoming season of the spinoff. Keep reading for more details on the change and the latest updates on the Season 10 cast.
Bachelor In Paradise Filming Start Date
ABC hasn’t given out many details about the upcoming tenth season of Bachelor In Paradise. The show was on pause and last aired in the fall of 2023. After a year break, the network is ready to bring it back for a new supersized season.
But where ABC is mum, blogger Reality Steve has the inside scoop on a lot of things in Bachelor Nation, including BIP. He revealed in his Daily Roundup that filming begins at the beginning of next week. According to Reality Steve, the contestants will fly out this coming weekend to start filming.

Cast List Update
ABC has yet to reveal the full Season 10 cast. However, they introduced the first two contestants at Jenn Tran’s Men Tell All special last summer. Her former suitors, Jonathon Johnson and Hakeem Moulton, are heading to the beach.
Jesse Palmer revealed during Grant Ellis’ recent After The Final Rose special that Grant’s third-place runner-up, Zoe McGrady, will also be on Bachelor In Paradise.
In a shocking twist, the Bachelor Nation host also revealed that Season 10 of BIP will also feature women and men from The Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette. He announced Leslie Fhima and Gary Levingston as the first two senior contestants.

Many fans are asking how exactly it will work with the young and older contestants. Leslie Fhima allegedly said on a podcast that the Golden contestants will film on a separate beach, but that has yet to be confirmed by ABC.
Huge Change Revealed For Season 10
In March, Reality Steve revealed that Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise was going to film in Mexico as usual but at a new location. The Playa Escondida Nayarit resort in Sayulita, Mexico was sold and the new owners didn’t want the show filmed there any longer.
The blogger was told by his sources that the new filming location was the Costa Sur in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. However, things have since changed.
According to Reality Steve’s latest intel, filming won’t take place at the Costa Sur or in Mexico at all. Instead, Season 10 will film in Puerto Rico. The sources didn’t reveal a reason, but RS speculated the deal between ABC and the Costa Sur resort fell through for whatever reason.
(BIP FILMING UPDATE): As mentioned on the Daily Roundup, BIP filming begins next week and will film in Costa Rica.
Not sure if original plans to stay in Mexico but go to a different hotel fell through, but that is the latest.

Reality Steve added that he hasn’t heard anything new about the cast list. He also isn’t sure if the show will stick to the same format of bringing new people onto the beach every week or if everyone will arrive on the same day/episode.
The new filming location doesn’t really change the show too much. Viewers are more focused on the drama than the background scenery. But does it surprise you that the show reportedly won’t film in Mexico for Season 10? Share your reaction to the news.
Bachelor In Paradise is supposed to premiere on ABC sometime this summer.
