Arie & Lauren Luyendyk Reveal They’re Having Another Baby
Arie Luyendyk married Lauren Burnham on a beach in Maui, Hawaii, in January 2019. She was pregnant with their first child at the time. They welcomed their daughter, Alessi, a few months later in May.
The Luyendyks became a family of five when Lauren gave birth to twins Senna and Lux in June 2021. The pregnancy was a difficult one. The couple decided they were done having kids. Arie had a vasectomy in 2022. But then baby fever hit.

Bachelor Fans Blast Luyendyks For Exploitation
Since their time on the show, Arie Luyendyk and his wife have become full-time influencers. In addition to their YouTube channel, they are active on Instagram and other social media sites.
The couple often share updates on their children. Arie and Lauren document small and large milestones in their lives for their YouTube vlog. They also post sponsored ads on social media. But some fans are sick of the wholesome photos or videos of the kids turning out to be paid advertisements.
Bachelor Nation fans took to social media to vent about how the Luyendyks exploit their kids to make money. One fan kicked the discussion off with a major complaint. “The Luyendyks involve their kids in ads way too much, it’s honestly pretty upsetting, the fan wrote. They weren’t alone in thinking the behavior was problematic.
- “They have a laundry list of reasons why they are icky. This is definitely one of the top five though”
- “All seems so staged- as a children’s therapist, those children are going to have much to unpack as they grow up.”
- “It also just seems like they’re literally only having another kid for this reason alone… which feels really gross”
- “At least child actors have laws that protect their money and limit hours they can work, it’s pretty sad that influencer children can be exploited with no protections at all.”
- “He leverages the kids to lure ppl into watching and then slams in an ad. I found it highly offensive.”
- “parent influencers are truly the worst. plus as their kids get older and likely don’t want to be filmed/used they essentially lose their cash cow until they have another”
