Trista Sutter Wasn’t Allowed To Comment On Marriage Rumors
Bachelorette Trista Sutter wasn’t allowed to comment on all the rumors surrounding her marriage when she was filming Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. She also wasn’t allowed to say much when she returned from Europe and was waiting for the cast announcements to be made.
She appeared on a new podcast where she dished out more about her time on the reality show and how she wasn’t able to talk about things. Trista was on Jennie Garth’s podcast, I Choose Me where she dished out all the dirt.
She revealed that after Ryan’s post went viral and rumors began swirling about her health and her marriage she couldn’t say anything about why she gone or where she was. She said, “You have to wait. You just sign your life away, and you also sign that you have to keep everything in secret. And it’s not my first rodeo when it comes to that.”
So, at the time when she returned from filming, she simply addressed the rumors by saying, “Geez people. Can’t a girl have a nervous breakdown/trial separation/midlife crisis/death/divorce in peace around here?! 
.”
Trista reflected on her time as The Bachelorette and how she had to keep quiet about her life then too or face the possibility of being sued for millions.
Jennie said one basically has to “zip the lips!” Trista simply replied, “Yep.”
She Was Threatened By Bachelorette Lawyers To Be Quiet Or Be Sued
Trista Sutter recalled her time as The Bachelorette. She said they told her to be quiet about her season or face being sued for 5 million dollars. She told them good luck with that because she didn’t have that kind of money.
Either way, they threaten contestants on shows with huge lawsuits to scare them and keep them quiet. It usually works.
