Kaitlyn Bristowe is an open book about many aspects of her life. She shared two happy engagements and the subsequent breakups with the world. While she has been quiet about her dating life amid rumors she’s dating Zac Clark, she’s open about the rest of her life.
Over the years, the reality star has been open about her mental health, body dysmorphia, her desire to have children, and more. In a recent Instagram post, she shared her highs and lows for the week.
Her highs included extra hot matcha latte, writing music, working with horses, and, of course, her beloved dogs. However, one of her dogs was also the cause of a low.
She shared that Ramen took a trip to the vet for X-rays after eating plastic. Another weekly low was “fetal position crying in therapy,” which may have been related to her dog’s vet visit. As fans know, Kaitlyn has sole custody of the pups after her split from Jason Tartick in 2023.
Kaitlyn Bristowe shared a relatable low for women everywhere: she had horrible period cramps and PMS. According to her, the cramps were so severe that they made her black out.

Kaitlyn Bristowe received a lot of support in the comment section from women who have also dealt with the pain of period cramps. Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos left a comment praising her Bachelor Nation co-star for her openness.
The two became friends when Kaitlyn was a guest on Joan’s season of the spinoff, offering words of wisdom and advice. She also helped judge a strip-tease group date featuring some of the older gentlemen.
“Always raw and honest….your best life includes ups and downs. You are one of the few people that shares its as important to feel the downs as it is the ups,” Joan wrote.
She reminded Kaitlyn “…It’s ok to not show a perfect life on social media. And that the life you are showing is perfect for you. Love you my friend!”

Not everyone was as supportive as Joan Vassos. Kaitlyn Bristowe shared a message she received in her DMs. The hater wrote, “We get it, you’re lonely and desperate for a man and this is how you cope.”
The Bachelorette star clapped back with the soundtrack “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar. “Imagine being this unhappy. Ts and Ps to her,” Kaitlyn responded. She added that she thinks she knows who the troll is, but didn’t name names.
