Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas Facing More Legal Trouble

It was revealed on Tuesday that former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas is facing more legal trouble. Her ex-husband Stephen Stagliano continues to accuse her of drinking too much. People obtained court documents filed on Monday by Stephen in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles.

The new legal filing is in regard to their two children Austin 9 and Addison 11. The paperwork filed states that Stagliano’s financial situation has changed and he is currently unemployed. He is seeking work but has not found a job yet.

The documents state that he is requesting $1000 in child support and also monitored visits along with alcohol testing. In the paperwork, Stagliano says, “As of April 2025, I have no income. I am actively looking for a job, and DeAnna’s constantly changing work schedule and her drinking has made it incredibly difficult to do so.”

According to other reports, DeAnna works as a flight attendant and makes roughly $160,000.

Recall, Pappas was arrested in February after an altercation with Stephen occurred when he was picking up the children. He once again accused her of drinking and also said she was being aggressive. She was taken into custody and released later on bond. Upon release, she voluntarily submitted to a drug and alcohol test which came back negative.

Following her arrest she did seek a restraining order against Stephen but later dropped it. She agreed to the order because it was in the best interest of their children.

On April 3, DeAnna released a statement through her attorney noting that no charges were filed against her. It was proven that she was not the aggressor.

Stagliano Alleged Her Drinking Began Years Ago

Stephen Stagliano alleges that Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas’ drinking began in 2019. He listed several instances in which she was allegedly intoxicated. He saved text messages from his daughter indicating she was scared.

Stagliano also claims that on April 3 DeAnna “put our children in a dangerous situation due to her drinking.”

He went on to say that she left the children with their neighbor and went to the emergency room saying she was sick. Stephen claims she was not sick, just drunk. The children were frightened by the experience and very upset according to Stagliano.

He went on to disclose that he believes DeAnna will remain sober for the court proceedings. Stephen said, “I have no doubt DeAnna will completely deny that she has a problem, as she did during our marriage. I have no doubt she will ‘stay clean’ while these proceedings are ongoing. I have no doubt she will produce clean Soberlink tests and clean drug tests,”

So far DeAnna has not publicly responded to the new court filing.
