Bachelor Joey Graziadei continues to amaze Bachelor Nation with all of his accomplishments. One of his big accomplishments he is hoping to complete is fulfilling a bucket list of 30 items before he turns 30 years old. Now, not only is he checking off another box, Joey is also doing an incredible thing and granting a wish for a child who has been aggressively battling cancer. Bachelor Joey Graziadei Does Amazing Thing For Young Child
Bachelor Joey Graziadei is becoming known as one of the best leads in franchise history. He made even more history when he stepped in and won Dancing With the Stars. Now, he’s doing another good while also being able to cross something off his bucket list.
Not only was he able to mark something off his own bucket list, but he was also able to help a sick child do the same. One of his own bucket list items was to help a sick child check off a box on their own bucket list.
Joey went to Instagram to share this sweet little girl’s story and what wish he made come true for her. He began by introducing Lily Mooreland to all of his fans. He then shared her sad but brave journey with cancer.
Graziadei said,
“Lily was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Nueroblastoma. For treatment, she required a bone marrow transplant and when you get one you are immunocompromised for the first 100 days. It just so happens that the 100th day since her transplant was the same day @dwtstourofficial came to her hometown in Richmond. Lily and her family were big fans of DWTS so I was so excited to get them full access to the show with the help of everyone on tour.”
Joey showed many photos of the little girl who is 4 years old. One of the videos he shared features her saying three affirmations her mother taught her. There are also photos of her while in the hospital and also at her special night on the Dancing With the Stars tour.
Lily’s Mom Shared A Note With Everyone As Well
Bachelor Joey Graziadei made this little girl’s dream come true. He shared her story and also shared a note her mom wrote about Lily’s cancer battle. She revealed that Lily had been through 5 cycles of chemo/immunotherapy, stem cell retrieval, a 4-hour tumor resection surgery, 54 days in the hospital after a bone marrow transplant, and 12 straight days of radiation.
Her mom also revealed that Lily is now cancer-free. However, she has to endure another five or six months of treatments. It was also shared that neuroblastoma is the third leading cause of cancer deaths in children.
It looks as though Joey didn’t actually get a chance to meet Lily in person. However, he and Kelsey both commented on the post and said they can’t wait to meet Lily and her family in person. Even Joey’s sister commented, telling Lily that she loves her.
Other Bachelor Nation members chimed in as well, telling Lily how strong and beautiful she is. Helping a sick child is something Joey can truly be proud of.
